Looking for Elva Bird. She is my Aunt. She possibly lives in Australia now. I am her nephew from Vancouver and I am planning a trip to New Zealand in December.

There are a family called Bird who hail from Murupara (Ngati Manawa).

Pem Bird (a member of the Maori Party council)

I found a member of the Bird family in www.whitepages.co.nz using Bird and Bay of Plenty as parameters.

Look for Murupara
