Looking for any infomation on my Grandfather, his son was Mason(meihana) Tihema which was my father.

If you go to www.familysearch.org and put Kaimoana in the lastname, setting the country to New Zealand, you will find quite a few Kaimoana whanau. NOTE: not all records at the familysearch site are accurate, but this is a good place to start piecing together information.
