I need help to find my whanau..I am feeling sad as I have not had any links for ages...HELP!
Decended from Te Rarawa and being placed under the pakeha name 'Cameron'. The main/last person I have in my family tree is Henare Kamariera who is buried in St Stephens urupa in Pampuria, Kaitaia.
Any help will be apreciated...:)

Do you think teh Kamariera surname might actually be a first name of your Tupuna? Alot of surnames became last names back then, especially from the far north, even from around the Hokianga? Te Rarawa area. For e.g; I am a Decendent of Kamariera Morunga.... Hope this helps you?....
