Tena koe Souljah

I am a gr8 granddaughter of Te Ao Marie Katene-Kauika and Te Ngore Toitupu. My grandmother was Katarina aka Kaa Box (nee Toitupu) and my father was Steven Tiemi Box.

Nanny Te Ao was also known as Pia and came from Takirau marae in Waitotara. She had two marriages. Her first marriage was to my gr8 grandfather Te Ngore and they had 4 tamariki:

Mere Box (nee Toitupu) married Nepe Box
Katarina Box (nee Toitupu) married Ngatokorua Box
Zita Hawe (nee Toitupu) married a Hawe
Hohepa Nikora married Maekara ??? unsure of her maiden name.

Nanny Te Ao remarried, i'm assuming after Koro passed on, Wiremu Whakaheirangi Cribb and they had two tamariki:

Josephine Pine Hickford (nee Cribb)
Mark Cribb

After Koro Mark was born Nanny Te Ao moved her family back to Takirau where she now rest. Koro Rangimotuhia, her brother, continued to reside at Patiarero. My dads baby brother who just past away last year in September was Paul Box. He too was raised by Koro Rangimotuhia.

I have more to share with you if you would like and I look forward to putting the pieces together of our whakapapa. Do you know if you come off the first marriage of the second? If you are from the first marriage, do you come off Nanny Zita and if so do you belong to one of the twins Uncle Anthony or Uncle Tim??? If not then I'm really on the wrong track lol...

But please comment me back it will be interesting to find our connection...
