My great great grandmother, Heneriata Waimatou Karaka, born in 1869 had a sister that married into the Ngamu Whanau of the East Coast, Gisborne. We are unsure of her name. They had a brother named Hataraka Haumaroro Karaka.

As we don't have records or do not have any information about her or her whanau, we would appreciate if there any information that you may have to enlighten us. The name Tuta Ngamu keeps coming up.

Look forward to your replies
