Kia Ora Tahabcc.
David Murupaenga is the son of Dolly Grahame and Sam Muru (Murupaenga) of Ahipara.

These are Davids siblings: Gimma, Anni, Emily, and Mana.

The Mountain in Ahipara is called Whangatauatea.

The River i have swam in it, crossed it, fished out of it, and even drank from it. Now, i have forgotten the name of it sheeeeeesh, "My Bad". I'll get back to you on that one.

Kia ora Taha. Your grandfather is a brother to my grandfather Mana. Mana was the eldest of the first whanau. Dave is now the only living descendant from the first family. He is currently living somewhere in Mt Roskill. Who are your parents? Ko Whangatauatia te maunga, Ko Karirikura te moana, Ko Roma te marae, Ko Ohaki te wharetupuna, Ko Te Rarawa te iwi. You can contact me if you need any more info. Cheers Donna Muru

Kia Ora Taha,
just alittle correction here. Your grandfather David's iwi is not Nga Puhi its Te Rarawa. There is a Murupaenga whakapapa at www.tribalpages.com/tribes/mikaere.

Hello, My grandparents are yours too so I guess we are first cousins? Who are your parents? My mother was Rehe (Leslie) Murupaenga. Our grandmothers maiden name is Dunn she currently lives in Tauranga & Grandpa passed away last month.
Hannah's parents were Sam Dunn & Isabella McMath (Maika).
Sam's father was Wiremu Dunn
Isabella's father was Wiremu Maika
The iwi on Hannah's side is Aupouri

Hope this is helpful. Would like to hear from you if you are interested.
