I belong to the Nicholson whanau wich eventually started in Levin but then one of my great great koro's moved to Mohaka and married and settled up there.
I think his name is Howard Nicholson but i definately know that his son's name (my great koro) is Paramena Nicholson

Ko Tukiteao Kerei toku ingoa. I have a Matua Tupuna by the name of Rhodes Nicholson who married into our whanau about 4 or 5 generations ago. My grandmother was a Curtis and her tangi was held at Mohaka about 5 years ago. My grandfather, i te taha o toku matua, was from Moteo marae in the Hawkes Bay, and he was a Kerei. tkerei..there are a few last names on here that i know..curtis is one of them.my partner is levi wilson..his mother is verna curtis and her dad is patumoana curtis.i do know he had a sister living in raupunga.she passed away about 5yrs ago.cant remember her name but im sure your nanny is my partners grandaunty.
