looking for any of my long lost Whanau.. I'm doing my Whanau's Whakapapa.( My tupuna's ingoa is : Erana Pehi as she was married to Arthur Edmonds) So far I have established that she was :Erana Pehi from Kaikohe . So I'm trying to piece together all the info on the Pehi Whanau. So if there are any Pehi desendants . & also I'm researching the
Strongman Whanau as well, as they are both connected through marriage.

Hi Joyce
I am also descended from Arthur Edmonds. All I have found about Erana is quite confusing. In various places I have found various names :- Name: Erana (Ellen) Kareariki (Kari?) (Kaire?) EDMONDS (PEHI)
I have a database on http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/
in the "jump to a specific database" field enter makiff
Happy hunting
Amanda
