looking for anyone descending from Stephen James or James Rodda, or anyone that knew of them/him. In the Chch area or possibly Wellington. Thanx.

Thankyou Kina, i have looked up a lot of those sites and they are more relevant to overseas etc, my search is more within nz in the timeframe 1900 to around 1960. I know that some Rodda's came over from Oz but i am looking for a particular link that may not be on the internet as such, thankyou again that navigator site is quite handy and i have used it before, i hope if Bruno is reading this that he will get in touch, especially being a Rodda, naku noa.

Arohamai, I am trying to understand your difficulty in replying, whether technical or with my reply to Kina??
Like I said, the reason for trying to track back stephen james or james Rodda seems complicated and something i would rather not share publicly as it doesn't seem the right thing to do, so if you can contact me, i can explain further, arohamai as i had assumed you meant technical difficulty replying!!
