Kia ora,

9 postings back I recognized Maraea Romana [Norman], and Kiritipa Te Awa.
Drop us an email Mikaere to collaborate on their whakapapa. Kiritipa is my grandfather's brother and Maraea's second husband is my grt grandfather, Morehu Paapu Tupe from Te Touwai / Matangirau ki Whangaroa.

Na Hohaia.

Tena Koe ehoa,
I am related to the Tipene whanau via marriage and if this helps you may want to get in touch with The over 50's club out in west Auckland which is run by the Tipene's namely Mike and Bazil and also brother's Chris and Jerrad Tipene,I'm quite sure they would be more than willing to tautoko your hikoi, and all can be found in the white pages up in Auckland there.Regards,Bill Te Awa.

Kia ora kia koutou,

Does anyone on this list know of a Tipene who married a Akinihi Waata Mohi around the mid-1800's. I would be grateful for any information. My email is hinga2@optusnet.com.au.

Regards,

Darrell Hinga
