I am new to this site. I am hoping 2 trace my whakapapa. My fathers parents were Mihaka Ratahi & KIRI mataou Ohia. I think she may have been a Wiremu?. The Ratahi Whanau from TAIWHAKAEA in whakatane. My kuia's Whanau from welcome bay in tauranga. My mothers parents were Simon October & Lillian POTENE. Both from Tepuke I believe. 1 of my mothers sisters; aunty Sybil lives in Ruātoki. Her other 2 sisters, aunty Tui & aunty Rutu live in Tepuke. My dad has a sister living in New Plymouth, aunty Bella & uncle Graham.
🙂

Hi Rachael,

Hope you don't mind me jumping in on your forum, but I would like both Paul and Kiri to please contact me by one or all of the following:

1. Email - garatahi@gmail.com
2. Phone - 06-839-1833
3. Cell - 022-079-7502
4. Facebook - Geoffrey Ratahi
5. Post - 242 Rukumoana Road, R.D. 2, Napier, 4182
6. Personal - Te Pohue Hotel, 2971 State Highway 5, Te Pohue, Hawke's Bay

I would like to organise a kawe mate for our grandmother, Kirimatao, at Te Whetu Marae. I have previously spoken with uncle Pikowai about it and would like feedback from the rest of the whanau.

Also Paul, if you are in contact with any of uncle Dick's kids I would like to contact them as well. I saw Marisa several years ago but have been unable to contact her again.

Cheers cousins,

Geoff
