Hi William Taylor.
Back in 1988/90, living on Dalton Street, Gisborne, about 4 houses up on the right, across the road from a park used for all kinds of recantation things in the Kaite area was a family of Taylor's living there.
Wi Taylor had quite a number of kids of both sexes, the only one that comes to mind is Johnny Taylor.
From memory there Marae was out Patutahi ways, about 20km West of Gisborne City.
Wi would be at least 80 odd years old now if my guess is right.
Cheers William I hope this helps you mate.
