Hello

My name is Katerina Nicola de Thierry and I'm trying to find an Uncle of mine (whom I've never met) who I believe was born around 1959 to Whaiora Wiremu Hemi TE MIHA and Katerina Pepetua TE MIHA (nee Kingi).

His brothers and sisters are:
David Nikorima TE MIHA
Veronica Ngarangi (Rangi) TIATOA
William Hemi (Uncle Boy) TE MIHA
Joseph Hape TE MIHA
Francis Maori TE MIHA
Barbara Whakahoro TE MIHA
Katerina Anne (Nicky) SAMSON
Ettie Bridget TE MIHA
Justin Raymond TE MIHA
Christine Te Ao Mihi NICHOLSON
Therese Ramona TE MIHA
Maria BUTLER

He was whangai out as a young boy but I believe that the whole whanau lived in Mangakino for a while and then moved to Te Kaha where my nanna Katerina is from and lived the rest of their lives there.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Katerina, So sorry to intrude. I don't have relevant information regarding your whanau apologies! But I couldn't help but notice one of your whanau members has the surname Tiatoa? My nan married my pop whom was a Tiatoa and was wondering if you knew any info or history regarding my nan. Her name was Audrey Te Aurere Tiatoa (Takimoana).
