My name is Deanna Teao. I am a descendant of Irimate Graham. She is my great great grandmother. Her son,William Just is my great grand father and his daughter, Carolyn teao (Just) is my nana. Irimate had William Just with her second husband, Frederick William Just. I was told that Irimate died in the NZ epidemic leaving my great grandfather orphaned with little information to pass on.

I have found conflicting information about her birth place and iwi. I believe her father was Taiwhanga Te Umuhuri/Kereama - Graham and mother Mary Ellen Thompson (Whangape).

I am looking for any information about my families ancestors and iwi or any other descendants of Irimate. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou in advance.

Kia ora Deanna,  my name is Burdinia and I am descendent of Matiu Graham, brother of Irimate. I have recently been in touch with a great great grand-daughter of Irimate from her first marriage to Robert McKenzie.

Feel free to email me burdinia@gmail.com

Ngā mihi

Burdinia
