Tena Koe whanau

I am helping my partner search for the Waikato whanau from Gisborne. I have a photo of 3 brothers, Tipi, Waikato,Jack Waikato and Rangi Waikato. I also have a photo of his grandfather , Bill Waikato who married Hine Mita from Nuhaka. Bill and Hine had, William or Wiremu Waikato, who is my partners father.

We are really keen to find whanau to reconnect. My partner has just reconnected with his Dad who is ill and we are hoping to find his whanau.

Kia ora,

If you go to the People Directory, choose SURNAME as the search category from the drop down box, put Waikato in the search box and click submit there is one result for someone with the Waikato surname who is Ngati Porou.

I am not too sure if the email address is current, but it may give you a place to start!

Good Luck! 😀
