[Solved] How to Add Lists

I have a couple more lists that I didn't add at our old Whakapapa Club as I was waiting for our new one.

Just wondering how we can add lists as I couldn't find a link for that.

The new system requires a COMMA delimited CSV file to be uploaded.

You can make one in a spreadsheet program

First row must have 3 columns named name, description, submitter

Then you fill in the columns. You can leave description and submitter blank.  We don't use the submitter column but it has to be there.

If the list is just names you could:
 - just put the names in the name column OR
- put the surname in the name column and the first name in the description column

Once done, create a new post with LIST and the list name in the title, give a korero about the list and any URL that the info is related to,  attach the file (you need 100 posts to upload a file) and tag @whakapapa-club. IF you don't have over 100 posts create the post and tag @whakapapa-club that you have prepared one.

We will take your CSV, upload it using the korero that you have written in the post as well as putting a link to the URL if there is one.

Attached a template for download. When you open it make sure you choose , (COMMA) as the column delimiter and " (DOUBLE SPEECH MARKS) as the text delimiter.

Be good if you can download the CSV file @poutokomanawa and let me know if it works ok for you.

The template downloads fine 🙂

When I opened it the ; was also ticked but I removed that to have it as you said @webmaster.  Kia ora for this and the instructions - it is much appreciated!
