KIa Ora,
I descend from the Hudson Whanau of Opape,Opotiki and my great,great grandmother was Roka Manutaharoa Leach.She was thought to be born around the 1830's. It has been said she lived at Cape Runaway when younger but her origins are said to be from Ngati Porou. Any information will be much appreciated.Kia Ora.

I found a little more:

Hauiti = Kahukuraiti
Hinetera = Tamateakuku
Tutekohi = Hinetewaiwai
Tamatanui = Kahukuraao
Hurawaikato = Kairahui
Tuwhakahuiarangi = Whiwhinga
Te Whakahioterangi = Toakino
Ponui = Tamahuranga
Konohi = Hinekino
Te Riwai = Ngapuraho
Wahinewhakatipu = Papatea
Ringiringiwai = Hinehawaiki
Enoka Kaiwhiri = Pani Kaingaihu
Heni Korukoru = James Leach
Tiki Riiti = Mere Arihi

I assume Roka is a uri of Dick Leach.

Kia ora Ano TePaetahi,
I have just found that Roka Manutaharoa Leach had a sister Mere Autahi. As Mere's land shares were given to the uri of her sister Roka as she had no issue. It says in the minutes that Mere's father was a man called Te Wehe.
