Tena koutou ki te iwi o ngati Tuwharetoa,
Ko Mitch taku ingoa, ko Tawera toku ingoa whanau. E noho ana ahau i Otautahi, i whanau
mai kei konei, engari, ko ngati Tuwharetoa te iwi.
I am trying to find out information on my turangawaewae. My grandfather and grandmother
Harry and Molly Tawera are buried in Nukuhau. If anyone knows any of the following
information I would greatly appreciate an email. geronimo74@slingshot.co.nz
-The name of the the Marae, the wharenui, the wharekai. The kawa or tikanga o te Marae.
-He waiata no tenei wahi, he purakau hoki.
If you know any good books or places or people to contact that would be a great help also.
Kia Ora koutou, kia kaha!
