Unless there are two places over there with the same name Te Waiiti is miles before Ruatahuna.
It's location is about mid way between Murupara and Minganui.
They may come under Ngati Kuri o Ruatahuna I don't know.
One likely place although a bit of the beaten track to try is the Conservancy Office for D.O.C. in Gisborne or their field station at Anewanewa, both these places have very close connections with Ruatahuna and I'm sure someone in their office will be able to help.
