Tena koe e hoa, Just read your message you posted, do you know where the "Poa" family orginate, because I have a Aunty who is married to a Poa, unsure where he is from but my whanau are from Wanganui, if you have any more info, you can message me and I can pass it on to my uncle to see if it is the same Whanau.

The only thing I know in regards to the name is that my granddads name was George Poa and he lived up in the taitokerau with my nana Mereana Taitimu. They lived in Pawarenga for a number of years then moved down to Auckland and lived in Manurewa. I don't know anything about my grandfather or his origins that is why I am desperate to know anything about him. According to one of my auntys granddad was a whangai child into the Poa clan.
