Tena koutou e hoa ma,LDS records show Reihana bn abt1840 no surname m Mere Waiti bn abt1842 had 8 children 1 being my grt, grt,Hipiriona Watene Reihana who m Irihapeti Patuawa.
We have always believed we are Watene from Thames though no one has been able to connect us through whakapapa to that area. Would be very interesting if anyone out there could add more info to this jigsaw

Tena koe,
I know there are alot of Reihana whanau in
Papakura, you may try going through the phone book online, or I would suggest to check with Maori Land Court with available names you have now, sometimes you find some of your whakapapa in the Land records of owners, shareholders and successions

I do believe there are Reihana in Huntly and Watene are my mothers whanau in Thames but I am no help to you of your connection as my mother is deceased now, but if I do find out more I will let you know. A.Dixon
