Can anyone give me some Information on the family of Snow (Slim) Paikea (now deceased) originally from Gisborn. Then moved to Whangarei where he remained over the years.

I am related to the Paikea whanau. I seem to recall a "Slim Paikea" from my uncle Bruce who resided in Kaiwaka (who is now deceased) Any connection?

Kia ora Crabj, thanku for ur reply ,yes uncle bruce was slims brother, who was known as a minister in kaiwaka, i only got to meet slim (once) when i was 29 yrs old, he was my natural father. love to chat to u more, if u can email me on polymaori@yahoo.com.au , would be greatly appreciated, i am also on yahoo chat as polymaori
