nga Ngeru .I have 8 children and want to share their cultural heritage with them . Can you help?

My father died 29/12/01 so my search has become more essential for me as the only link my family and I have is 1 Aunt , who also has limited knowledge of our Whakapapa .Please help me if you can , any little piece of news will be valued and precious to me .

Can anybody tell me how I can get census details for the period 1920-1970 ? Or birth / death records .

To update , i have now learned that I have a cousin ( Eddie ngeru and his wife Tina ) I believe I have Ngapuhi and Ngati ruanui connections .My grandmothers maiden name was Karena and she was Te Wiki when she died in July 1969.I am still searching .

Tena Koutou , My Aunty tells me that my cousin came to visit her at Christmas. It is my Uncle Pats daughter , if you are that cousin please contact me. We have a lot more in common than you realise.

Paula if U R in the UK then U can go 2 the Mormans, they have the biggest collection of every person born in the world on computer and on little slides dating back yrs. They may B of a religon but they don't throw it in YR face when U go 2 their premises, I believe they R near Kensinton tube station. If not just ring up directory or something to give U info on where, the Mormans U may even find through google search engine. Good luck.
