This is a "Correction" to the previous panui and incorrect spelling of Jacquelin's surname. My humble apology to the Whanau. KIA ORA.

This is to inform Family, Friends and Whanau of the death of the Late: Jacquelin Winifred Werahiko, formerly of Putaruru, New Zealand, on Saturday 8 January 2005, at Sacred Heart Palative Care Hospital in Sydney.

To Eugene, Mia and Senna, we express our sympathy, condolences and Aroha to you at this sade time. In like manner, we express our Aroha to all of Jacquelin's Whanau...those living here in Australia as well as those back home in Aotearoa, expecially her Whanau gathered in Putaruru.

Following preparational procedures being completed, the Late: Jacquelin Winifred Werahiko will be transferred to the Sacred Heart Palative Care Hospital Chapel, Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst for a Family Service for friends and Whanau on Monday 10 January 2005 at 7:00pm.

At the conclusion of the Family Service, the Late: Jacquelin Winifred Werahiko will be transferred back to her Home in Maroubra where she will lay-in-state for one night until Tuesday morning, 11 January 2005. In the event of any changes to the current arrangements, I will post an update panui to www.maori.org.nz .

As travel arrangements are finalised for the Late: Jacquelin Winifred Werahiko to return to Putaruru, New Zealand, I will post another panui here on maori.org.nz to keep the Whanau informed.

May the LORD Bless and Comfort you all as you Tangi JACQUELIN's farewell.

The Late: JACQUELIN WINIFRED WERAHIKO Returns Home To Aotearoa

This panui is to inform and confirm to the Family, Friends and Whanau that the Late: Jacquelin Winifred Werahiko is scheduled to depart Sydney for Auckland on Wednesday 12 January 2005, at 09:30am aboard Air NZ Flight 102, arriving in Auckland at approximately 2:30pm (NZT). JACQUI will be accompanied by her husband Eugene and their two daughters, Mia and Seena, together with other Whanau.

Following a brief stop-over at South Auckland Funeral Services, 553 Great South Road, Otahuhu, the Late: Jacquelin Winifred Werahiko will be transferred to Putaruru by her Whanau.

On behalf of Mitacare Funeral Services in Sydney, we express our Aroha to Eugene, Mia & Senna at this sad time.

May LORD bless and comfort you and all the Whanau gathered in Putaruru for Jacqui's Tangi.

It has been an honour and a priviledge to serve you and your Whanau.
