Kia Ora E Te Whanau

This is to inform and confirm to the Family, Friends and Whanau gathered at Te Wai-iti Marae in Ruatahuna and Whanau here in Australia and around the World, that the Waka carrying the Late: MANAAKI (MANNIX) TE TAITE, even as I type this panui, is lifting off from Sydney Airport aboard Air NZ Flight 104 (Saturday 7/8/2004) to return him to his ancestral lands of Ruatahuna. He is accompanied by his soul mate, Elizabeth and his little "Princess" Manaaki, together with 11 others of his Whanau travelling home with him. They are expected to arrive in Auckland at 6:00pm (NZT).

To all of MANAAKI (MANNIX's) Family, Friends and Whanau, I express and offer my humble apology for the incorrect spelling of his name in my previous panui. Unfortunately, that is how his name (MANAAHI)is spelt on his legal documents including his NZ Passport, and therefore I am duty and legally bound to write his name as it is recorded. Again, my humble apology and Aroha to you all.

As previously advised, following a brief stop-over at South Auckland Funeral Services, 553 Great South Road, Otahuhu, the Late: MANAAKI (MANNIX) TE TAITE will be transferred through to Te Wai-iti Marae in Ruatahuna by his Whanau.

May the spirit of our Heavenly Father and our Saviour and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, rest over Te Wai Iti Marae, Ruatahuna, to comfort you all as you Tangi his final farewell.

On behalf of our Whanau at Mitacare Funeral Services in Sydney, Thank You for the priviledge and honour to serve the Late: MANAAKI (MANNIX) TE TAITE and his Family and Whanau at this sad time. KIA KAHA.

Aroha nui, Ka kite ano.
