This is to inform and confirm the sudden and unexpected death of the Late: Noel Shane Emery, formerly of Ngaruawahia/Hamilton, on Monday 30th May 2005, in Sydney.

On behalf of Mitacare Funeral Services and our Whanau, I express and extend our sympathy, condolences and Aroha to all the Family, Friends and Whanau back home in Ngaruawahia, especially Noel's Dad, Emore.

Following the completion of preparational procedures, the Late: Noel Shane Emery will lay-in-state at Mitacare Funeral Services, 50/5 Inglewood Place, Baulkham Hills, NSW, for his Whanau and Friends to join together for Karakia and to bid Noel farewell, between 4pm - 5pm Friday 3 June 2005. Please call Mitacare Funeral Services on 02 8814 4100 to confirm the time.

At the conclusion of the Karakia the Late: Noel Shane Emery will be prepared for transfer to Sydney Airport for his journey back to Aotearoa.

The Late: Noel Shane Emery is scheduled to depart Sydney aboard Air NZ Flight 104 at 11:30am on Saturday 4 June 2005, with an ETA Auckland at 4:25pm (NZT). Following a brief stop-over at South Auckland Funeral Services, 553 Great South Road, Otahuhu, he will be transferred by hearse through to Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia where he will lay-in-state until the day of his internment.

On behalf of Mitacare Funeral Services, and Noel's Whanau, I express my gratitude and appreciation to Ms Nanaia Mahuta (MP Tainui) and Mr Peter Heenan (NZ Consul General, Sydney) for their assistance in expediting the release of the Late: Noel Shane Emery from the NSW State Coroner, Glebe. Kia Ora Nanaia and Peter.

In the event of any changes to the above, I will post an update "Panui" to keep you informed.
