Kia Ora E Te Whanau

This is to inform the Family, Friends and Whanau in Australia, Aotearoa and around the World of the death of the Late: SALLY MATEKINO HEMI, formerly of Te Araroa, New Zealand, on Friday 16th July 2004 at Westmead Hospital, Sydney, Australia.

The Body of the Late: SALLY MATEKINO HEMI will be flown back to Aotearoa. She will lay-in-state on the Hinerupe Marae, Te Araroa.

On behalf of Mitacare Funeral Services and our Whanau, I express our Aroha, sympathy and condolences to all the Whanau, especially SALLY's children, Sharon, April, Thomas and Nicky and their children here Australia as well as those gathering at Hinerupe Marae, Te Araroa to receive her back home.

As arrangements are finalised I will post an update panui to keep the Whanau informed as to dates, times and place for the Family Service in Sydney. Likewise for SALLY's departure and flight details from Sydney for Auckland.

Kia Ora E Te Whanau

This panui is to inform and confirm to the Family, Friends and Whanau of the Late: SALLY MATEKINO HEMI gathered at the Tutua Marae, Te Araroa, that her body will depart Sydney for Auckland aboard Air NZ Flight 102 on Thursday 22 July 2004 at 09:30am arriving in Auckland at approximately 2:30pm (local time), accompanied by her children and Whanau.

Following a brief stop at South Auckland Funeral Services the Late: SALLY MATEKINO HEMI will be transferred to the Tutua Marae, Te Araroa where she will lay-in-state until her internment in the Whanau Urupa, Te Araroa.

On behalf of all of our Whanau at Mitacare Funeral Services in Sydney we extend and express our Aroha to all of the Whanau gathered at the Tutua Marae to tangi her farewell.

May the Lord bless and comfort you all at this sad time.

It has been an honour and priviledge to serve your Whanau.
