Kia Ora E Te Whanau

This is to inform the Family, Friends and Whanau of the sudden and unexpected death of the Late: SYBIL HIPERA KINGI on Sunday 2 January 2005 at St George Hospital, Sydney.

To SYBIL's Whanau, both in Sydney and back home in Aotearoa, especially to her Husband, Brian and their sons, Kane and Abel, on behalf of Mitacare Funeral Services and our Whanau, I express and extend our Aroha to you all at this sad time.

Following preparational procedures being completed, The Late: SYBIL HIPERA KINGI will be transferred to the SHILOH CHURCH, Barrie Avenue, Mortdale, where she will Lay-in-state until final arrangements are completed for her to return to Whakatane, New Zealand for her final farewell and Tangi.

As arrangements are finalised I will post another panui to Maori.Org.NZ to keep all the Whanau informed as to arrangements and arrival time in Auckland and onto Whakatane.

What a great loss to us.
Sybil was a wonderful lady and a great follow of our Lord Jesus Christ..
What a celebration to be with Him, but a sad moment for us that we shall miss her.
May our heavenly Father Bless the Family left behind.

This is to inform and confirm that the Late: SYBIL HIPERA KINGI will depart the shores Australia for the final time on Thursday 6 January 2005.

The Late: SYBIL HIPERA KINGI is scheduled to depart Sydney aboard Air New Zealand Flight 102, at 09:30am on Thursday 6 January 2005, with and estimated arrival time in Auckland of 2:25pm (NZT). SYBIL will be accompanied by her beloved husband, Brian, together with their two sons, Kane and Abel and other Whanau.

Following customs clearance at Auckland International Airport, the Late: SYBIL HIPERA KINGI will be transferred by hearse through to Whakatane. Following a brief stopover at Gateway Funeral Services, the Late: SYBIL HIPERA KINGI will be transferred to the Tae Whakaea Marae where she will lay-in-state until Saturday 7 January 2005. Following the final farewell service on the Marae, SYBIL will be interned in the Tae Whakaea Urupa.

To Brian, Kane and Abel, and all the Whanau, both in Sydney, Australia and those gathered at Tae Whakaea Marae and throughout Aotearoa, as well as those around the World, on behalf of Mitacare Funeral Services and our Whanau, we extend and express our Aroha to you all as you Tangi SYBIL's farewell at this sad time.

May the Lord comfort you all as you prepare to bid her farewell until that day when her voice shall be heard yet again, singing and rejoicing in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on that Glorious Day of the Resurrection.

On behalf of SYBIL, Brian, Kane and Abel, we express our Aroha, appreciation and gratitude for our Kaumatua and Ministers of Religion, who presided and conducted the services during the Tangihanga in Sydney. Kia Ora.

We especially acknowledge and say a big THANK YOU to Pastor Cynthia Beech and the Shiloh Church for allowing SYBIL to lay-in-state there for the past two days (Monday and Tuesday) which enabled many many many people to come and pay their respects and show their AROHA for SYBIL. KIA ORA Cynthia and Shiloh Church.

Brian, it has been an honour and a priviledge to serve you and your family. GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER!

We who are from Shiloh have been extremely privilaged to care for Sibil and the whanau.
We extend our sympathy and miss this grat lady.
Even in her passing she did what she always loved to do ,share the Gospel and make everyone enjoy her company.This great saint will be missed on earth and rejioced in heaven.

Brian we have been together thru good and bad times. Sybil has left a massive void in our lives but her legacy lives on. We will be there with you and your whanau in spirit, our aroha be with yous as we await your return to sydney so till such time you and the boys know we love yous dearly and will be thinking of you all.

Our LOVE goes out to you guys, We cannot imagine Husrtville Westfield or St George area without our sister Sybil, everytime we see a marone 4 wheel drive it always raises our eyes in sadness, We are so blessed that she is with our heavenly Father, and not that other dood. What ever you need where here for you guys.
