I have been researching my husband's family and have discovered there is a link with Ngati Awa through James 'Woeser' Heberley who married Maata Te Ngihi E Wai.
I hace a Family chart that gives names, that I am having difficulity reading because I don't fully understand whether they are male or female names. I would be interedsted in contacting you and hope this is of help to you.
Regards Cat.
