I am looking for any information regarding Maraea Epiha/Edwards? and her descendants. I recently discovered that my whanau on my paternal great grandfather's side have been lead to believe their surname is Kaea, but in actual fact it has always been Epiha. Kaea was my great grandfathers first name. Maraea would be my ggg? grandmother. I have only been able to find one reference to her, that being the 'Maungatautari native land case of 1884', and I am unsure whether Epiha is her maiden or married name. Any information that can be given will be greatly appreciated.
