Rawinia Te Apatu and William Christy
Kia ora, I am currently helping my partner do her whakapapa for the sake of our children. I have my whakapapa in the way of potraits and photographs displayed on the wall in our house as it makes life easier to put names to faces. We wish to do this with her whakapapa as well, however it's been a struggle so far to get photo's through her whanau as many do not have or now their tupuna. Anyway, Rawinia Te Apatu is my partner's GGGrandmother from hapu Ngai Te Apatu, Ngati Kahungunu her husband was William Christy(spelling of name changed to Christie later on in time) who had a daughter named Kaka who married Kingi Rotoatara. Rawinia had an elder brother Paora Te Apatu. If anyone could help out with who we could approach to get copis of photographs if any, this would be greatly appreciated.
