Ko Kirihi Anaru Mapa Rini tooku ingoa, te tamaiti a Anaru Hoohepa Mapa Rini. Ko tooku karani kuia ko Miriama Matiu (Matthews) nee Mapa Rini. E hiahia rapu tonu au i ooku koorero hakapapa moo tooku kei konei, kei Taamakimakaurau hoki e noho ana.

I'm wanting to have a chat with anyone who may know or be related to or even a member of the whaanau of Waimirirangi Marae in Waihou Nui A Rua (Lower Waihou, Panguru), namely;Mapa (Rini), Aperahama (Abraham), Matiu (Matthews), Tamati (Thomas), Te Whiu, Te Tai, Paaka, and whoever else is from this marae or any of these whaanau. My name is Kirihi (Chris or Christopher) Anaru Mapa Rini, the son of Anaru (Andy) Hoohepa Mapa Rini (otherwise known as Joe Mapa here in Christchurch). My grandmother was Miriama Matiu (Matthews) nee Mapa Rini. I'm interested in researching my hakapapa for my whaanau here and in Auckland.

How did you get on with this? I am traveling to Waihou this weekend i will have my cousin Whina Te Whiu give me what she can and will contact you upon my return.  Im in Takanini, South Akl.

I know my grand parents on both sides and great grand parents from my father side. However, i would love to find more information about my whanau. 

My grandmother is Neta Rini and grandfather is Rawiri Aperahama

If you know aany more information please let me know i would appreciate any further help i can get.
