Could anyone please give me any information on Paki Herangi? She married four times; Matenga, Ngaamo, Puke and I'm not sure of the other; and I am from the Ngaamo marriage? My grandmother was Frances Pango Ngawai Ngaamo and she married my grandfather, Reupena Louis Aperehama from Ngati Kaputuhi and moved to Kihikihi and lived behind the Alpha Hotel. I only ever met one of my nan's sisters, Hine-Nui-Te-Po who stayed by the pa in Hukanui. Although we affiliate to Waingaro pa also. Any info would be appreciated.

We have Herangi whanau buried at our urupa Te Papa o Whatihua Okapu. This whanau member was married to a Shadrock but we also have connections to the Puke whanau too. They are well before my time so i can only tell you that they are there and not how we are connected.
But could be worth a shot or a place to look.
I wish you goodluck on your quest
