Looking for MY grand fathers immediate whanau history;Kingi Raumaewa(sonny)-: My name is Michelle Kingi the grand daughter of this tipuna. we are hoping someone out there may have some info on our grand father. He was brought up in the south island around kaiapoi- he is 1 of 8 children. They originated around the lower north island. Our tribal affiliations are: Te Atiawa,Ngaiti Apa,Rangitane and Ngai tahu. my father was David(duke)Kingi who died in 1978. He was Born in Havelock(south island). His last sibling to die last year was Sonny Kingi. We know a little but would like the original place where His whanau came from. Genuine help would be most appreciated.

Cheers Michelle
