Wiruini Komene moved from Pakotai after getting my great grandmother pregnant - Tihema - Emily Jane Rudolf. he went to Wellington, got married and had atleast 11 other children.

The Komene whanau are whanaunga of mine. There are still Komene living in Parakao (5kms south-west of Pakotai).
