My grand parents were from Rangitukia.
Their names were Arapeta Ngatai and Matakina Arkena.
She died in the 1950's and he died in the mid 1970's.
I would like to know more about them and their Tupuna.
I know Arapeta Ngatai's father was Wiremu and his wifes name was Hene.
Matakina's mothers name was Mere Hauhau Nikora. Would really appreciate any info plz

I knew peta and his wife who lived at Taumata a Puhi in Rangitukia Peta Ngatai had children one son Joe who moved to Wanganui area ? and Reggie who lived here in gisborne both are now deceased My grand mother was materia Ngatai sister to Hoani ngatai the father of wiremu Ngatai.who was peta's father
