Am looking for direct descendants of Tuia on behalf of my Nana.
Her father was Enoka, however she's looking for the first family that Tuia had as she was married to a Mokaraka.

Kia ora Amba Sweetie

The Mokaraka that I am aware of hail from the far north. Kaikohe and the Hokianga area.

if you log on to www.oldfriends.co.nz and search under marae, enter Otatara, there you will find a few mokoraka registered to Otatara Marae, in Waima Hokinga. Maybe a email to them, could start the ball rolling.
