Fathers name is John Hone PIKARI(Pickering), also known as uncle Tony to some from Bay of Islands, Kaikohe, we use to live in Auckland before coming to Australia, i know that the marae is Parawhenua, iwi is Nga Puhi.
My grandmothers side is COOK right back to Marcellas COOK, very little info on this all i know is that he is of American Indian background and possibly French, would appreciate it if anyone has any info at all on either the COOKS or the PIKARI(Pickering) whanau.

Tena koe crissy11,

Make sure you are in the Whakapapa Club then put Pikari in the serach box at the top right hand corner. You will find some records for the Pikari whanau, including people in the Whanau Email Directory - some of them may be your relations.

then do the same thing, putting Cook then putting Pickering in the search box - there are results for all of those names.

Good Luck!

Nau te raurau,

Together we will get there!
