Tena koutou katoa. Am looking for any information re: Hohepa Rakimakere and/or Ani Tamati. Hohepa a.k.a Taupoki Edwards no Kaiapoi. Ani a.k.a Ani Tau and Ani Tau Edwards no Koukourarata.
I have already researched the Kai Tahu whakapapa unit so have the whakapapa files that relate to them (they were my grand parents), but am most interested in any korero about them - or even better, photos!

Maybe you could do a search in http://www.whitepages.co.nz for the Whanau names Edwards, Tau and Tamati in the Canterbury area and see if anyone there has the korero
