Kia Ora,
I am searching for descendents of the Henare-Henry Whakapapa which may have originated from up north and has descended down to the Waikato/Coromandel Region. My G.G.Grandfather was Whare-Hau or Tutuhau Henare-Henry who married Jessie Tirapurua Tamihana (Thompson). We Know Henry is the English name for Henare but not sure if it means the same as some Henare Whanau say we aren't connected because no Henare migrated passed Aucklandif anyone may have come across this Name or have heard of it, any infomation is very much appreciated from our Whanau in the Waikato. Our Iwi is Ngati Wairere our Hapu is Hukanui from Tainui.
Kaipai Whanau.
