Tena koe Te Awhina Richards,

If you make sure you are in the Whakapapa Club and do a search for the surname Kerei you will find quite a few listings - some of these may help you with the answers.

Likewise, if you go to http://www.familysearch.org and put Kerei in the surname, setting the country to New Zealand there are quite a few Kerei whanau listed, and somewhere in there may also be answers. Note, not all information in the familysearch site is accurate, but it is a great place to start

Nau te raurau,
Naku te raurau,
Ka ora ai nga tangata!
