Tena koe james,

Here are a few places that you could start searching in. I have had a quick look and have only found the surname Tahuna, but could not find the name Ramapaha , but if you have a look around you may be able to recognise the names and go from there

Make sure you are in the Whakapapa club and at the top right of the page put tahuna in the search box and click Search The Records then look in the Search Results - Lists section as there are some Tahuna Whanau there.

Go to www.familyserach.org and put tahuna in the Last Name, setting the country to New Zealand and look at the results there. While none of those listed are from Taranaki, you may be able to find some and make connections.

If you know any other surnames and can give us an idea of when the persons lived, that may also help us to help you!

Good Luck
