I have his whakapapa thanks
I am interested mainly in what stories remain as to the lives of these people whether oral history or a written reference someone may have stumbled across during their own research

"Pounamu" by John Logan Campbell has some stories
about Otara Te Irirangi.Campbell is known as the
"Father of Auckland" & Te Irirangi took him around the bays between his pa of Umupuia & the
future city to find a place to live,- the island of Motukorea(Browns Is.) I have a copy of a painting of Te Irirangi by George French Angus if you contact me I will send it.
