Kia ora whanau,
I am looking for my grandmother's maiden name. She was married to Wati Teira from Whirinaki Hokianga. Since all my aunts and ucles have 'passed on' I thought I would post this and see what happens.

She died in 1953. Her name was Mereana.

if you had the above certs, there would be a maiden name on them, even parents names etc.

I don't have any of the certificates - not knowing her maiden name makes it almost impossible to get her birth certificate. As for the others I will try and access BDM's in NZ. Thanks anyway.
