Hapu - Ngati Ruakopiri also known as Patutokotoko ki Manganui A Te Ao
Married Ngati Parekaahu Tukaiora from the Hapu Ngati Tumanuka of the Iwi Uenuku
thier children were Herewini TeTawhero, Haitana TeTawhero, Tarua TeTawhero, Ngaropi TeTawhero, Papara TeTawhero, Ngaparaki TeTawhero, Wairata TeTawhero
he was referred to as Pupuri Whenua(land retainer) after the 1887 Waimarino land sales of which 1000 people sold their interets to the Crown leaving 101 Non Sellers, these people were the last of the Whanganui Kingitanga

Tena koe patutokotoko,

If you go to www.familysearch.org and put in the Last Name box Tawhero (without the Te) you will find some records for the people you have named above.

Be aware though that not all records in that site are accurate, but it is a good place to start!
