Kia ora,
I am a descendant of Te Pehi Turoa through his daughter Titi (sister of Topia). Does Sam come down through Topia/Tiwha's line? I know members of Te Tiwha's family line however Sam does not ring any bells. I can make further inquiries on your behalf if you wish.
