Looking for information of my greatgrandfather Watene TuaTua Teaki Kainga of Erepeti Marae Ruakituri also Ruataniwha Road in Wairoa an married to my greatgrandmother Peho Hera Moana from Mahia they had 4 children named Mangumangu,Mac, Kui and Tangiora if there is anyone who knows of my whanau i would much appreciate info cheers

tena koe mistee it would be great if you could korero with your mum yes my nan did talk of the whakapapa but mainly of nanny Peho and i do hold a copy of the Moana, hemopo, etc.. whakapapa but it has been qutie hard to gather info about watane it almost seems like he never exsited lol

Ok, well thanks to marae wananga in recent years, those that attended were given a copy of whakapapa reasearched by one of our own. It is whakapapa that ties all those that turangawaewae back to Ruataniwha. Once I have a korero with my mother, I will get in touch with you ano.
