I am trying to trace my whakapapa back from sarah edmonds who was married to james edward yorke.
I think she could have been one of John Edmonds childred from kerikeri.
mostly interrested the maori roots. Can anyone email me a family tree dating as far back as they can go.
I did have one written out by a yorke relative at the yorke reunion at waitangi and also some infor from the edmonds reunion but cannot find it now.
Please e mail me kerceg@xtra.co.nz

Kia ora Katrina. If you could email me on makomihi@hotmail.com after around the 20th of January 2013 then I will have a look for you. I have some information that might be of interest, not much though. More on the Tarati (Dorothy) Maki line of this whakapapa really. I am on the move and have notes packed away in unlabelled boxes unfortunately. I imagine that the Edmonds whakapapa is relatively well known though and that might be your first port of call. Perhaps Hayden Edmonds of Ngati Wai Trust Board in Lower Dent Street Whangarei might be of assistance also. Best wishes in your search.
