Iam looking for some specific answers but anything will do.
Who was Hinewhare's (elder daughter of Hongi Hika) mother ?

Also any info on the following names :William Wells , Anne Wells , Thomas Dalton , Elizabeth Dalton , Falconer Walsh Macken , Evalina Macken.

Evalina Macken was my great grand mother and I would like to know who she was married to (more than one I think ) and if there are any records of this. Also records of her children from those marriage/s.

Kia ora,
I am also searching for information regarding Ann Wells, Hinewhare and their link to Hongi Hika. My grandmother passed away recently and amongst her papers I found a program from a Whanau Reunion at Te Rawhitti Marae in January 1997. Inside there were notes made about her grandfathers connection to Hongi Hika. His name was George Graham mother was Ann who had married a Wells then his father Samuel George Graham. I would appreciate any information that will validate my grandmothers notes.

Hello everyone, I was at the Wells Reunion organised by Great Aunt Sarah and Katriana. My first time to meet any Wells family. I live in Kaitaia. My dad passed away in April 2011, Charles Berry Wells. It was great to meet up with family, I didn't know. I put my hand up to be part of the next Wells Reunion.

Te Rawhitti Marae in January 1997. I remember hearing my Dad went to this reunion with my niece. Does anyone remember meeting my Dad? He is one of the sons of Wiremu (William) Hunia Wells and Iritana Eru Shedlock. They are both in the cemetary on the hill near Akerama Marae, Hikerunui. Anyone popping up to Kaitaia, pop in and visit. The kettle is always on. I would like to see the program of the Rawhiti Marae Reunion. Let's organise another reunion on a marae. I'm willing to help out.

Are you sure that Hinewhare was Hongi's daughter, or was she from Hongi Hika Ururoa? I have never seen whakapapa connecting Hinewhare as direct from the former.

I also have not seen a whakapapa that connects Hinewhare to Hongi Hika.... I have seen Hinewhare as a descendant of Hongi Hika Ururoa though. I posted something about this a few years ago.
