Roka married James Robinson in1850 at Taupiri.
This family was in1855 living in Waiuku where the 2nd Daughter Elizabeth my g/grandmother was born
Seeking to find what happened to Roka after she returned to Taupiri and of any other family she may of had.Time period possibly 1858 onwards
Roka changed her name and had another family we are told.Nopera could of been the name of husband or son.
Her father was listed on her wedding certificate as Paora Huraki chief of the Ngati Whauroa.

Thanks

I have been looking at this family in the North, can not say for sure that it can not be our missing Roka,as the
story i have read about Roka was that she was taken as a 14 year old with others to the North.
Thanks for your reply.Allison
